How it works
-
Before beginning any training program, we conduct a thorough initial consultation and assessment session. This critical first step helps determine program suitability and establishes baseline measurements. During this session, we:
Review medical history and previous injuries
Discuss sports participation and athletic background
Explore performance goals and aspirations
Evaluate current physical literacy and movement patterns
-
We prioritise safety and proper progression in all our training methods. Our program follows strict guidelines:
No maximal strength testing until proper movement patterns are established
Age-appropriate exercise selection and loading
Progressive skill development based on individual readiness
Continuous technique monitoring and feedback
-
Every athlete begins with our Foundation Phase, which:
Teaches proper warm-up routines and movement fundamentals
Establishes basic exercise technique and body awareness
Introduces proper breathing patterns and core engagement
Builds confidence in basic movement patterns
-
Our program operates in small, focused groups designed to maximise individual attention while fostering team spirit:
8:1 athlete-to-coach ratio maximum
60-minute training sessions
Age and maturity-appropriate groupings
Available afternoon weekday sessions
-
We maintain detailed records of each athlete's development through:
Weekly training logs and performance metrics
Quarterly performance reassessments
Detailed progress reports every semester
Annual comprehensive evaluations
Regular communication with parents
